Trisha joined Montclair State University in January 2020. Prior to coming to this prestigious institution, she have worked at world class organizations such as the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, where she managed the Global Health Advocacy and Vaccine delivery programs. She then went on to handle the portfolio for grants for the US Education program and the Pacific Northwest grants; NYU’s Sponsored Projects Administration office and Columbia University’s Office of Sponsored Projects, both of which handle all post award research activities and most recently Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer care hospital where we provided holistic financial support to the PI’s for post award and pre-award activities.
Rosa Cordova joined the Montclair State Community in November of 2015. Rosa brings over 11 years of experience in post-award operations, including: invoicing, cash management and internal and external financial reporting. Rosa strives to provide the technical expertise, leadership and customer service necessary and effectively manages both public and private grants and contracts. Rosa is well versed in Federal Grants Management guidelines and requirements (FAR-A133,A-21). Prior to Montclair State, Rosa was Financial Analyst at New York University and Stevens Institute of Technology. Rosa has a BA in Accounting from New Jersey City University, an MBA in Finance and an MS in Accounting from Saint Peter’s University.
Christine joined Montclair State University in February of 2016. Prior to joining Montclair State, Christine was an Accounting Manager for a group of charter schools in New York City where she oversaw all of the day-to-day financial operations, developed and maintained the budget and managed all federal, state and private funding awarded to the schools. In addition to working in the private industry, Christine has also spent a number of years working as an auditor with a public accounting firm in which she has provided audit and attest services to a variety of clients in the manufacturing, telecommunications and not for profit industries. She has worked on A-133 audits from the public and private side and is skilled in working with external, state and private monitoring agencies on audits of awarded monies. Christine received her BA in Accounting from Bernard Baruch College, City University of New York.
Bill Jones is currently the Grants Coordinator in the Finance and Treasury Department. He came to Montclair State in 2008. He is in charge of expenditure compliance for all projects and is the main liaison with the Accounts Payable and Procurement Departments. Before joining Montclair State, Bill was the Office and Accounting Manager for a medium sized property care corporation. Prior to that, he was a Financial Statement Analyst for many years at Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Bill earned his bachelor’s degree from Fordham University in 1995.
