Applicants with non-U.S. degrees, please visit the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/graduate\/how-to-apply\/international-applicants\/\">application page for international students<\/a>\u00a0to review the U.S. degree equivalency information.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"prpl-drawer\"><div class=\"prpl-drawer-header\">Application Checklist<\/div><div class=\"prpl-drawer-content\">\n<p>In order to make applying for graduate school as seamless as possible for you, we have<br \/>\ncreated an application checklist. This checklist can be a reference point for you during the<br \/>\napplication process to ensure that you have a comprehensive understanding of the steps<br \/>\nneeded to apply, as well as all of corresponding supplemental materials for your specific<br \/>\nprogram of interest.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>For Fall admission<\/strong>, submit your application by December 15 to receive a decision by January 29. After that, applicants will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the program is full.<br \/>\n<strong>For Spring admission<\/strong>, submit your application by October 17 to receive a decision by November 5. After that, applicants will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the program is full.<\/li>\n<li>Submit Online Application: Please submit your application by following the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/graduate\/how-to-apply\/\">general application instructions<\/a>. Follow the instructions in the application to apply the waiver for the application fee when you submit your application. Once this step has been completed, the online portal will allow you to upload your supplemental materials.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>The following is a list of the supplemental materials that will accompany your application for the Dual Degree Program: Master of Public Health\/Master of Business Administration:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Transcript: One from each college attended<\/li>\n<li>Essays\/Personal Statement: The MBA and MPH programs each have their own particular lens, not easily shared by taking only one or two courses in the other program. The MPH curriculum is shaped around the core public health principles of health equity and social justice, as the means to improve the healthcare system and population health.\u00a0 The MBA curriculum is shaped around instilling core business competencies, with a real-world focus on innovative problem solving and global strategic thinking.\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>Write a brief 500-1000 word statement about why your career goals or previous experiences lead you to pursue a dual degree that addresses both of these.<\/strong><\/div>\n<p>Please note that this statement is your opportunity to demonstrate your written communication skills as well as your interest in the MBA.<\/p><\/li>\n<li>Letters of Recommendation: Two.<\/li>\n<li>Resume: Required.<\/li>\n<li>Standardized Test Scores: GRE\n<ul>\n<li>You are eligible for a GRE waiver if you have earned a bachelor\u2019s degree with an overall GPA of a 2.75 or above or have earned a previous master\u2019s degree from an accredited United States (or equivalent) college or university.
