Financial Information<\/h2>\n

We know paying for your education is a big concern for many grad students \u2013 that\u2019s why we\u2019re here to help. We\u2019re proud to offer a world-class graduate education that\u2019s affordable, with plenty of support along the way. In addition to competitive tuition, we offer students financial support through graduate assistantships, scholarships and other forms of financial aid.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

Graduate Assistantships<\/h2>\n

The Graduate School offers a variety of assistantship positions including Graduate and Teaching Assistantships for full-time master\u2019s students and Doctoral Fellowships, Assistantships and Teaching Assistantships for those pursuing a PhD. Assistantships are competitive and compensation varies across programs and colleges but a student may receive full tuition and fee remission or a stipend for hours worked.<\/p>\n

Scholarships<\/h2>\n

Merit-based scholarships are offered to graduate students by many of Montclair\u2019s colleges, schools and departments. In addition, scholarships are available from external sources and we encourage students to explore these opportunities.<\/p>\n

Financial Aid<\/h2>\n

Graduate students also have access to financial aid in the form of loans and on-campus employment. Students are eligible to apply for Federal Direct Loans, Federal Graduate PLUS Loans or Alternative Private Loans, and The Graduate School offers numerous on-campus employment and internship opportunities.
