Rian Weinstein
Rian Weinstein is a sophomore majoring in food science and nutrition with a concentration in food systems and a minor in business. Food has the power to affect one’s mind, body and soul which is why her dream job is to travel across the world and help people through food and nutrition in developed and severely food insecure locations. Rian’s love for helping people extends to her purpose in Health Promotion. She joined freshman year because she wanted to help the public in more ways than just through food and nutrition. At Health Promotion, she has increased her knowledge of drugs, alcohol and safer sex, which fulfills her desire to educate people. Gaining knowledge and then passing it on to others is very valuable to Rian, as she sees herself as someone who strives to be a role model and have a positive influence on her campus.
