Our goal is to increase students\u2019 confidence in their ability to navigate the college admissions process and ultimately enroll at the college or university of their choice.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Who is Eligible?\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>This program is designed for African Americans, Asian Americans, Indigenous Americans, Pacific Islander Americans, Hispanics\/Latinx Americans, multiracial Americans, first generation to go to college, and low income, rising high school juniors and seniors. <\/p>\n<p>All participants are required to submit proof of up to date vaccination for COVID-19. \u201cUp to date\u201d vaccination means a person has received the initial doses of any of the approved COVID-19 vaccines, plus any eligible booster shot. (Religious exemptions are not allowed for students residing on campus, per the University Health Center at Montclair State University). Submission instructions for non-Montclair State students will be sent to accepted students. In addition, all students must provide a negative PCR test result 72 hours prior to the start of the program. <\/p>\n<h2>How much does the Pre-College Access Institute (PCAI) cost?<\/h2>\n<p>The Pre-College Access Institute (PCAI) is completely free to all participants.
