Open Enrollment is your yearly opportunity to review benefits and make changes for the next calendar year. All changes made during Open Enrollment will be <strong>effective on January 1, 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Enrollment<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>No action is required<\/strong><\/span> if you do not wish to change or modify your medical benefits.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Action is required<\/strong><\/span> for the dental plans if you are currently enrolled in the Cigna, Horizon or Metlife dental plans and do not want to be auto-enrolled in the Aetna Dental Maintenance Organization (DMO).<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Action is required<\/strong><\/span> to enroll and re-enroll in Flexible Spending Accounts.<\/li>\n<li>Starting today, <strong>Tuesday October 1<\/strong>, employees will be able to log into the Benefitsolver website by accessing a link on their <a href=\"http:\/\/my.state.nj.us\">MyNewJersey portal<\/a> or via <a href=\"http:\/\/mynjbenefitshub.nj.gov\">mynjbenefitshub.nj.gov.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>What&#8217;s New?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Attend the in-person\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/human-resources\/2024\/09\/13\/2025-open-enrollment-benefits-fair\/\">Benefits Fair<\/a> Hosted by the Division of Human Resources this <strong>Thursday, October 3<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www4.benefitsolver.com\/benefits\/BenefitSolverView?page_name=signon&amp;co_num=31756&amp;co_affid=stateofnewjersey\">Virtual Benefits Fair<\/a> will begin today, Tuesday, October 1<\/li>\n<li>Attend one of the in-person <a href=\"https:\/\/itdsevents.montclair.edu\/calendar\/hr?cid=15700&amp;t=g&amp;d=0000-00-00&amp;cal=15700&amp;ct=63094&amp;inc=0\">Bloomfield Campus Open Enrollment Workshops<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nj.gov\/treasury\/pensions\/hb-active-shbp.shtml\">Dental Plans for 2025<\/a>\n<ul>\n<li>Two different dental plan designs are available:\n<ul>\n<li>Aetna and Horizon Dental Expense Plans (DEP)<\/li>\n<li>Aetna Dental Maintenance Organization (DMO)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Members currently enrolled in either: Cigna, Horizon or Metlife dental plans will be automatically defaulted to the Aetna DMO. <\/strong>Employees may change their dental plan by logging into Benefitsolver.<\/li>\n<li>Medical, prescription drug and dental plan rates for 2025 were approved by the State.
