Welcome to the Global Center on Human Trafficking at
Montclair State University (GCHT)
The Global Center on Human Trafficking (GCHT) is a leading advocacy hub committed
to fighting human trafficking through education, outreach, and legislative action. Our
mission focuses on preventing trafficking, supporting survivors, and driving policy
change by harnessing the expertise of scholars, practitioners, and survivor leaders. We
engage with both the campus and local community with awareness campaigns, training
programs, and partnerships with government and non-governmental organizations—all
working together to create a world free from exploitation.
Mission: We aim to mobilize collective action for novel solutions to the complex
problems of human trafficking, ensuring everyone can live free from its threat.
Our Priorities: Focuses on prevention and survivor empowerment through five
strategic priorities: Education, Research, Policy, Networking, and University
Engagement.
Our Vision: The Global Center on Human Trafficking envisions a world in which all
people live free from human trafficking.
