Global Survivor Collaborative

A top priority for the Global Center on Human Trafficking is to promote a survivor led response to human trafficking. To further this goal, GCHT has partnered with Karana Rising, an organization by and for survivors, to create the Global Survivor Collaborative. The mission of the Global Survivor Collaborative is to transform the response to human trafficking by fostering survivor created and led policies, programs, research and advocacy.

The goals of the Global Survivor Collaborative include:

  1. Creation of a network of survivor leaders who understand how to positively impact and change the systems that have not served or protected them.
  2. To Influence global and national policies and programs that directly impact the lives of survivors and those vulnerable toward all forms of human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation.
  3. To support survivor developed programming in consultation with experts in the field.
  4. To support survivor driven and led research.
