As you develop a face to face, hybrid or online course, consider the instructional design, training, and support available to you at Montclair State. Our staff of Professional Trainers and Instructional Designers are available to help you navigate the resources that may enhance your course development and teaching. Furthermore, the ITDS Team offers workshops and one on one support in course design and the use of instructional technologies.
We strive to introduce a wide range of emerging technologies that can be used to enhance teaching and learning. To that end, we have designed pedagogically sound workshops to help support teaching and learning in the classroom. Realizing the importance of offering a variety of training opportunities that meet the needs and busy schedule of our Campus Community, we offer both onsite (face-to-face) and online training workshops, as well as annual events, faculty forums and seminars, and individualized technology training consultations.
If you are interested in learning more about the supported technologies available through the University, consider signing up for one of our workshops or request a private training consultation from one of our professional trainers.
If you are planning to teach a face to face, hybrid, or online course in a coming semester and would like instructional design assistance, please request an Instructional Design Consultation. We recommend that you contact us at least the semester prior to the start date of your course. Due to the ratio between the instructional design support staff and faculty, planning ahead allows us to assist you more efficiently.
