Workday Recruiting represents the initial component of the Workday 2020 project: The Power of HR and Finance. Workday Recruiting provides automated position creation, job posting, and candidate application workflows.

Workday Recruiting — Go-Live Support
Starting Monday, August 19, Human Resources and Information Technology team members are available at Workday Recruiting Go-Live Support from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., to answer your Workday Recruiting questions. Go-Live Support can be reached by:
- Dialing the IT Service Desk at Ext. 7971, Option 4, Select “Go-Live Support”
- Dialing the Go-Live Support Team at Ext. 5000
- Sending an email to: Talent@montclair.edu
Workday Recruiting — Training
Information Technology offers two excellent, introductory Workday Recruiting courses:
- Recruiting 101: Creating Positions and Job Requisitions (60 minutes)
- Recruiting 102: Search and Hire Process (60 minutes)
To register, go to the ITDS Course Registration website, click the Category dropdown menu, then choose Workday-HR to view remaining classes.
Workday Recruiting — Open Labs
Open Lab sessions provide an ideal opportunity to sit side-by-side with Human Resources team members and input your actual recruiting transactions into Workday. We strongly encourage you to use the Open Labs as a venue for initiating your initial recruiting transactions. The labs are drop-in only; no sign-up or registration required.

What’s Changing for Hiring Managers and Search Committees?
Workday Recruiting offers the ability to review, screen, interview candidates in one platform, eliminating Position Action Approval Form (PAAF) and providing a central repository for a more streamlined, collaborative recruiting process.
What’s Changing for Staff?
Current employees will log into Workday to view internal job postings, apply for jobs and manage applications.
What’s Changing for External Candidates?
External candidates will create a Workday account to apply for jobs, with the ability to upload multiple documents.
