Self Service+ is the self service portal on your Mac device that allows you to install approved applications and updates on your Montclair State University managed Apple computer. The information below will guide you through logging in and accessing applications.<\/p>\n

Please Note:<\/strong> If you do not have the Self Service+ icon that means your machine is not configured properly and you should reach out to the IT Service Desk<\/a> or your local technology support team.<\/p>\n

Self Service+ Icons<\/h3>\n

You can access Self Service+ from your dock or applications folder.<\/p>\n

Self Service+ Log In Screen<\/h3>\n

On the login screen, you will use your NetID@montclair.edu<\/strong> and password<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Upon logging in, you will be brought to the Home tab by default and will find the following in the main section of Self Service+:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Find \u2018Featured\u2019 software packages<\/li>\n
  • \u2018Shortcuts\u2019 section with weblinks that will bring you to useful University websites.<\/li>\n
  • \u2018Catalog\u2019 lists all applications, categories and shortcuts. This allows the user to scroll through the full library or drill down based on the defined category.<\/li>\n
  • \u2018Notifications\u2019 will display a notification bubble if your attention is needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
