Login Instructions<\/h3>\n

Step 1:<\/strong> Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete<\/strong> on your keyboard. On the login screen, press Ctrl + Alt + Delete on your keyboard to proceed to the sign-in page.<\/p>\n

VPN Access Before Login<\/h2>\n

In rare cases a user may need to access the campus network prior to logging on to the computer. To do so a user will need to start the VPN connection to the campus network as detailed below. This feature is standard on all University provisioned Windows laptops. If you do not have a VPN account please submit a request via ServiceNow or call the IT Service Desk to request one.<\/p>\n

* Please make sure that you have a MSU VPN account. If you do not have one, call the MSU Service desk to submit a request to have one created.<\/em><\/p>\n

Note to international travelers:<\/strong> Access may be restricted based on country.<\/p>\n

To access the VPN, go to login page and hit Ctrl + Alt + Delete<\/strong> to bring up the log on prompt.<\/p>\n

Then look to the bottom right hand corner of the screen and select the VPN icon.<\/p>\n

When you see the VPN prompt appear, if necessary, type into the white box VPN.MONTCLAIR.EDU<\/strong> for the connection you need and select connect.<\/p>\n

Another prompt will appear asking for your information. Please be sure that you have your DUO account setup correctly. Enter the following information in the text boxes.<\/p>\n

GROUP:<\/strong> Select \u201cCampus\u201d
\nUSERNAME:<\/strong> <Your NetID username>
\nPASSWORD:<\/strong> <Your NetID password>
\nSECOND PASSWORD:<\/strong> type PUSH<\/strong><\/p>\n

Then select OK.<\/p>\n
