The KnowBe4 Phish Alert Button (PAB)<\/strong> is a quick and easy way to report suspicious emails. If you get an email that seems like a scam, just click the PAB to send it to your campus IT team for review. This helps keep your account and the school\u2019s network safe from cyber threats.<\/p>\n

Please refrain from using the KnowBe4 PAB button to report non-suspicious emails or spam, as it is intended solely for reporting phishing attempts.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Why is the Information Security team enabling this?<\/div>

\n<\/a>Our team is enabling the Phish Alert Button (PAB)<\/strong> to help users easily report suspicious emails and improve cybersecurity.\n

By using the PAB, students and staff can quickly flag potential phishing attacks, allowing the security team to investigate and take action before any harm is done. This helps protect personal data, prevent malware infections, and strengthen the campus network against cyber threats.<\/p>\n

Plus, it encourages a culture of security awareness, making everyone a key part of the defense against scams.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

How to enable the PAB for Students<\/div>

  1. Students will receive an email via Knowbe4 to implement the Knowbe4 PAB button. \"Screenshot<\/li>\n
  2. Students will need to click the Phish Alert<\/strong> icon, which looks like an orange fish hook. You\u2019ll find it in the side panel on the right. If you don\u2019t see it, click the small left-arrow in the bottom-right corner of your Gmail window to show the side panel. \"This<\/li>\n
  3. A window will pop up on the right side of the Gmail inbox. This window will request a PAB license number. This number will be found in the email above named the Manual Registration Key<\/strong>.         1. To report a suspicious email, open the message and click the Phish Alert<\/strong> icon, which looks like an orange fish hook. You\u2019ll find it in the side panel on the right.
