{"id":14179,"date":"2015-03-03T22:32:16","date_gmt":"2015-03-04T03:32:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/news\/article.php?ArticleID=14179"},"modified":"2015-03-03T22:32:16","modified_gmt":"2015-03-04T03:32:16","slug":"14179_french-day-2015","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/institute-for-the-humanities\/2015\/03\/03\/14179_french-day-2015\/","title":{"rendered":"French Day 2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures and the Institute for the Humanities at Montclair State University are delighted to announce the winners of the 2015 student film competition held during the February 6 &#8220;French Day&#8221; for secondary school students.\u00a0 First place went to the Verona High School short film &#8220;Cher Journal,&#8221; written by Anthony Giuliano and supervised by French teacher Eug\u00e9nie Mordkovich.\u00a0 Second prize was awarded to Pascack Valley High School for &#8220;Madagascar,&#8221; overseen by French teachers <span lang=\"FR\">Teresa DelGiudice and Sandy Mandel.
