If you are new to Panopto, we recommend accessing Panopto through one of your Canvas courses (option 1<\/strong>). If you are familiar with Panopto, we recommend uploading your videos through the Panopto website (option 2<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

Option 1: Accessing Panopto through a Canvas course<\/h2>\n

  1. Click on\u00a0Panopto Recordings\u00a0<\/em>in your Canvas course menu. If you do not have\u00a0Panopto Recordings<\/em>\u00a0as an option please visit the Canvas Guide\u00a0How do I manage Course Navigation links?<\/a>\u00a0for steps on how to enable it.<\/li>\n
  2. Navigate to your Panopto folder \u201cMy Folder\u201d by clicking on the dropdown arrow next to your course folder and click on \u201cMy Folder\u201d.

  3. Click on\u00a0Create<\/em>\u00a0and select\u00a0Upload Media.

  4. Click within the Add files frame to upload your video file.

  5. Navigate to your video, select the video file and click on\u00a0Open<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Once the video file finished processing it will be available in \u201cMy Folder\u201d.<\/p>\n

    Option 2: Accessing Panopto through the Website<\/h2>\n

    1. Navigate to Panopto via\u00a0https:\/\/montclair.hosted.panopto.com\/<\/a>. If prompted to login, login with your MSU NetID and password.<\/li>\n
    2. Click on \u201cMy Folder\u201d in the left side menu.<\/li>\n
    3. Click\u00a0Create<\/em>\u00a0and select\u00a0Upload Media<\/em>.
