She has created, written and produced projects such as the world&#8217;s largest and first communal VR opera, <em>The Hubble Cantata<\/em>, and the eco-documentary <em>The Colorado<\/em>. Her opera <em>Sensorium Ex<\/em> dives into community impact and AI-bridging her love of collaboration with system building. Her work has been performed by the New York Philharmonic, Minnesota Opera, Los Angeles Opera, San Diego Opera, Bellas Artes, and at the Festival Dei Due Mondi in Italy. She has been a resident at MASS MoCA, the Park Avenue Armory, the American Academy in Rome, and at Sundance. This appearance is in conjunction with ArtSmart <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and the Cali Immersive Residency Program.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"prpl-drawer\"><div class=\"prpl-drawer-header\">Michael Fabiano Bio<\/div><div class=\"prpl-drawer-content\">\n<p>Of Michael Fabiano\u2019s debut as Lensky in Tchaikovsky\u2019s\u00a0<em>Eugene Onegin<\/em>\u00a0at the Royal Opera,\u00a0<em>The Sunday Times\u00a0<\/em>in London wrote: \u201cI can\u2019t think of a Lensky at Covent Garden who has held the audience so spellbound in 40 years of Onegin-going\u2026 a glorious debut.\u201d The recipient of the 2014 Beverly Sills Artist Award and the 2014 Richard Tucker Award, Mr. Fabiano is the first singer to win both awards in the same year, and is considered one of the greatest tenors in the world today.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, he was named one of the winners of the first edition Teatro Real Award given to artists who have stood out in a special way for their support to the institution throughout the 2020-21 season.<\/p>\n<p>In the 2022\/23 season, Mr. Fabiano performed at the San Francisco Opera for their Opera Ball, and Opera in the Park, and will sing Pinkerton in\u00a0<em>Madama Butterfly.\u00a0<\/em>At the Metropolitan Opera, Los Angeles Opera, Gran Teatre del Liceu Barcelona, and the Wiener Staatsoper, he will sing Cavaradossi in\u00a0<em>Tosca.<\/em>\u00a0In addition, Mr. Fabiano will make his role debut as Maurizio in\u00a0<em>Adriana Lecouvreur\u00a0<\/em>with Opera Australia,\u00a0and perform recitals at the Recital Center in Melbourne, at Victoria Hall in Geneva, and at the Waterford Concert Series in Virginia rounding out his season.<\/p>\n<p>During 2021\/2022, Mr. Fabiano made his role debut as Cavaradossi in\u00a0<em>Tosca<\/em>\u00a0at the Op\u00e9ra National de Paris.
