The week long day camp was held on campus in the Cali School&#8217;s Chapin Hall from July 8 &#8211; 12. On the final day of camp students participated in a field trip and visited the Stokes Forest Music Camp.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Summer 2013 marked the 21st year of operation for the Stokes Forest Music Camp. The camp was again held at the New Jersey School of Conservation, July 7 \u2013 20. Lou Kosma, bassist from the Metropolitan Opera orchestra and Mostly Mozart Festival, returned for his eighth season as Artistic Director.\u00a0 Highlights from this year&#8217;s camp include a performance\/presentation by prominent jazz vibraphonist and Montclair State Alum, Bill Ware, \u201982 and a visit by Metropolitan Opera tenor Adam Laurence Herskowitz performing &#8220;Nessun Dorma&#8221; from Puccini&#8217;s <em>Turandot<\/em> with the camp&#8217;s orchestra!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Preparatory Center for the Arts had an active and rewarding summer with the successful start-up and operation of the inaugural year of the Summer Harp Camp under the artistic direction of Loretta O&#8217;Driscoll.
