Cali School of Music at Montclair State University proudly announces the fifth annual season of the <strong>Cali Immersive Residency Program<\/strong>, a groundbreaking program that brings world-class artists to campus for week-long residencies filled with collaboration, mentorship, and performance. Designed to connect students with leading voices in today\u2019s evolving musical landscape, the program offers unparalleled opportunities to work directly with acclaimed performers and ensembles across genres.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"706\" data-end=\"1643\">The 2025\u201326 season features an extraordinary lineup: folk musician, singer-songwriter, and cellist <strong data-start=\"805\" data-end=\"822\">Leyla McCalla<\/strong> as Artist-in-Residence; composer, pianist, and vocalist <strong data-start=\"879\" data-end=\"902\">Samora Pinderhughes<\/strong>, known for his socially conscious and genre-blending work; virtuoso violinist <strong data-start=\"981\" data-end=\"998\">Stefan Jackiw<\/strong>, acclaimed for his poetic and technically flawless performances; and Grammy Award\u2013winning mezzo-soprano <strong data-start=\"1103\" data-end=\"1121\">Isabel Leonard<\/strong>, a star of the world\u2019s leading opera stages. Also appearing are the groundbreaking <strong data-start=\"1205\" data-end=\"1223\">Kronos Quartet<\/strong>, pioneers in expanding the string quartet repertoire; Grammy-nominated jazz vocalist <strong data-start=\"1309\" data-end=\"1326\">Jazzmeia Horn<\/strong>, celebrated for her powerful storytelling and modern take on jazz traditions; legendary Cuban-American saxophonist and clarinetist <strong data-start=\"1458\" data-end=\"1478\">Paquito D\u2019Rivera<\/strong>, whose career spans Latin jazz and classical music; and esteemed choral conductor <strong data-start=\"1561\" data-end=\"1580\">Anton Armstrong<\/strong>, recognized internationally for his artistry and leadership.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1645\" data-end=\"2037\">Each residency includes public performances at the Cali School of Music and in New York City as part of the Bridges Series at Merkin Concert Hall, co-presented with Kaufman Music Center.
