As part of the Montclair Literary Festival’s new partnership with Montclair State University, New York Times bestselling author Joyce Maynard<\/strong> will be at Sprague Library for a free talk and book signing. Join us as Maynard reveals the magical world of La Llorona in her new novel, The Bird Hotel<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Maynard will be in conversation with professor and author Alice Elliott Dark<\/strong><\/a> and will be signing books after the event.<\/p>\n

The event is part of the seventh annual Montclair Literary Festival<\/a> line-up presented by Succeed2Gether. The Festival begins on May 3, 2023 and runs through May 9, 2023, with an additional event on May 11, 2023. While most events are free, the proceeds from paid events will benefit the organization’s mission.<\/p>\n
