{"id":3597,"date":"2023-07-17T08:31:06","date_gmt":"2023-07-17T12:31:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/library\/?p=3597"},"modified":"2023-07-17T08:38:27","modified_gmt":"2023-07-17T12:38:27","slug":"security-upgrade-for-sprague-library-databases","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/library\/2023\/07\/17\/security-upgrade-for-sprague-library-databases\/","title":{"rendered":"Security Upgrade for Sprague Library Databases"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To increase network security, Sprague Library has implemented Single Sign-On to access electronic resources with DUO two-factor authentication.<\/p>\n<p>When accessing the library&#8217;s databases, electronic books and journals, and streaming media, you will now be prompted to log in using Montclair State University\u2019s Single Sign-On solution using your NetID and password.<\/p>\n<p>As a <strong>student<\/strong>, signing in with your login credentials will give you instant access to these resources.<\/p>\n<p>As <strong>faculty and staff<\/strong> you must, additionally, complete two-factor authentication through the DUO App. If you have not yet enrolled in DUO MFA, please follow <a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/information-technology\/duo-mfa-enrollment-usage-guide\/#ENROLLMENT%20USING%20THE%20DUO\" target=\"_blank\">these steps<\/a> to enroll.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/library\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/213\/2023\/07\/sso.jpg\" alt=\"sso login prompt\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Accessing our electronic resources while on-campus has <em>not <\/em>been affected.<\/p>\n<p>If you have any questions, feel free to contact Kevin Handeli, Web Services &amp; Systems Specialist, Sprague Library at <a href=\"mailto:handelik@montclair.edu\">handelik@montclair.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>To increase network security, Sprague Library has implemented Single Sign-On to access electronic resources with DUO two-factor authentication.
