The writing group will run during the Spring 2026 semester (January 26th – April 24th), with weekly topics including:<\/p>\n
Time Management<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Literature Review<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Citation Management<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Journal Selection<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
And more!<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
The program is mostly run asynchronously, though participants are required to attend one weekly synchronous writing session, with multiple sessions being offered each week. We will be using Wendy Laura Belcher\u2019s book\u00a0Writing Your Journal Article in Twelve Weeks<\/a>\u00a0to help facilitate discussions and writing.<\/p>\n If you are interested in joining, please consider attending one of the upcoming Zoom information sessions where we will discuss how the program will run, the expected time commitment, and answer any other questions you may have about the group.<\/p>\n The dates for Zoom information sessions are as followed:<\/p>\n Wednesday, November 19th at 7:30 p.m.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/li>\n Tuesday, December 4th at 4:00 p.m.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/li>\n Tuesday, December 9th at 9:30 a.m.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/li>\n Thursday, December 11th at 12:00 p.m.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<\/li>\n Wednesday, December 17th at 10:00 a.m.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n To join the group, please fill out the\u00a0current graduate student registration form<\/a> (graduate student alumni<\/strong> should use the alumni registration form<\/a>). A completed article draft is required to register. You do not need to attend an information session to join the group, but it is recommended.
