MSU Westerdahl Fellows work with faculty and peers as they gain valuable research and teaching experiences while completing a doctoral degree.<\/p>\n<p>The Fellowships will be awarded on a competitive basis to applicants with financial need. <strong>To express your interest in applying for the fellowship, you only need to indicate on your application that you&#8217;re interested in a full-time research assistantship.<\/strong> Applicants will be expected to demonstrate both a strong potential for scholarly work in mathematics education and a passion for mathematics teaching and learning.<\/p>\n<p>Contact Dr. Nicole Panorkou, Program Director, <a href=\"mailto:panorkoun@montclair.edu\">panorkoun@montclair.edu<\/a>, for more information about the Ph.D. program and the fellowship.
