In order to demonstrate Montclair State University&#8217;s compliance with these federal regulations a Compliance Working Group was formed to address the following areas:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Student identity verification in distance and correspondence education.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer of credit policies and articulation agreements.<\/li>\n<li>Title IV program responsibilities.<\/li>\n<li>Institutional records of student complaints.<\/li>\n<li>Required information for students and the public.<\/li>\n<li>Standing with state and other accrediting agencies.<\/li>\n<li>Contractual relationships.<\/li>\n<li>Assignment of credit hours.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The members of the working group were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Steve Johnson (Chair)<\/li>\n<li>Yanling Sun<\/li>\n<li>Barbara Ritola<\/li>\n<li>Catherine Boscher-Murphy<\/li>\n<li>Shannon Gary<\/li>\n<li>Melissa Harris<\/li>\n<li>Leslie Sutton-Smith<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Middle States Commission on Higher Education is obligated to ensure that its candidate and member institutions comply with accreditation-relevant federal regulations.
