Mental Health Awareness Week Begins October 10

Help promote awareness and decrease mental health stigma.

World Mental Health Day is observed on October 10 every year, raising awareness of mental health issues around the world and mobilizing efforts in support of mental health.  In honor of World Mental Health Day 2016, the campus community is asked to work together in taking a step toward decreasing mental health stigma at Montclair State University.

Out Of The Darkness

In collaboration with Active Minds, Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is sponsoring the Out of the Darkness Suicide Prevention Walk on Saturday, October 15 as the capstone event for Mental Health Awareness Week.

Please help spread the word about CAPS services and prevention programs. Everyone in the campus community is welcome to attend the following events, many of which are co-sponsored by our campus partners.
