The IRB Staff's poster is presented at PRIM&R's AER Conference

Research Compliance Officer Hila Berger attended Public Responsibility in Medicine & Research's annual Advancing Ethical Research Conference in Anaheim, California. There, Ms. Berger presented a collaborative talk1 titled "Staying On Top of Your Game: Professional Development for Human Subjects Research Staff," with Charlotte Coley of University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Karen Hansen of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. She reviewed topics such as professional certifications for IRB professionals and social media development for research compliance staff.

Ms. Berger also presented a poster2 authored by herself and the MSU IRB staff titled "Creating a Culture of Compliance: It Takes More Than Solid Policies and a Snazzy Submission System." A PDF of the poster can be reviewed here. The Research Integrity & Compliance Program is thankful to the Division of Academic Affairs and the Associate Provost for their continued support.
