Do you want better sleep?

Monday, March 20 - Friday, March 24

Join the Office of Health Promotion for an educational week about sleep and all of its wonders! Stop by our table in the Student Center Lobby all week long for a chance to win the daily prize! All participants throughout the week are automatically entered into our grand prize Bedtime Bundle!  The Bedtime Bundle includes a fleece blanket, sleeping emoji pillow, Sleepytime tea and sleep balm.

Tickets will be drawn daily around 5:30 p.m. and winners will be contacted the following morning. The Grand Prize winner will be drawn Friday, March 24 around 4 p.m. and contacted the following day.* 

Why do we need sleep?

College students have been called the most sleep deprived population in the country. Optimal sleep for adults is 7-9 hours and we all know that doesn’t happen for college students very often. Getting a good night’s sleep improves your energy, alertness, mood, physical health, and academic performance.

Where can you get sleep information and resources?

Drowsy Driving

  • Date: Monday, March 20
  • Time: 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Come learn about the dangers of drowsy driving.  Participants will receive one raffle ticket for a chance to win a moon night light.

Sleep and Learning

  • Date: Tuesday, March 21
  • Time: 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
  • Location: Student Center Lobby

Does sleep really impact learning?  Come find out! Participants will receive one raffle ticket for a chance to win aloe moisture socks and lotion.

Sleep Aids and Dangers

  • Date:  Wednesday, March 22
  • Time: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Location: Student Center Lobby

Stop by our table to learn more about sleep aids and the dangers associated with them. Participants will receive one raffle ticket for a chance to win Sleepytime tea & travel pillow.

Sleep Cycles & Sleep Disorders

  • Date: Thursday, March 23
  • Time: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Location: Student Center Lobby
Come learn about sleep cycles and sleep disorders. Participants will receive one raffle ticket for a chance to win essential oils.

Sleep, Health & Nutrition

  • Date: Friday, March 24
  • Time: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
  • Location: Student Center Lobby

How does our food affect our sleep? Come find out! Participants will receive one raffle ticket for a chance to win the Bedtime bundle.
