Jill Wodnick Nominated to Submit Application for Lamaze International Board of Directors

Jill Wodnick, a staff member of the Center for Autism and Early Childhood Mental Health (CAECMH) as the childbirth and maternal-child educator, was recently invited to submit an application for the Lamaze International Board of Directors. Under Jill's leadership, CAECMH is an approved Lamaze International provider of childbirth education. If selected, this service would be a 4 year commitment from 2019 to 2023 and would put her in a position of expanding the work of linking prenatal evidence-based childbirth education with federal and state systems seeking to improve maternity care. We would leverage this for grant funding as well.

Jill was also nominated locally to be on the board of the New Jersey Breastfeeding Coalition, a two-year term that begins in January 2019. This is the first time Montclair State University has had representation on this board. Additionally, Jill was invited by the NJ First Lady to attend a Black Maternal and Infant Health Leadership Summit.
