Montclair State students and Rocky the Red Hawk join neighbors in front of a home in Montclair for a live episode of NBC's "LX New York."

Montclair State University students from all quarters (the Drop-in Center, the Student Recreation Center, and Student Ambassadors, among others) participated in a remote live broadcast from a private home in Montclair on October 19 for an episode of WNBC New York’s new lifestyle news show, LX New York.

Rocky the Red Hawk was on hand too, and together with the students and other Montclair neighbors, helped create a welcoming backdrop—and an energetic cheering section—for the new NBC program. Airing daily on Channel 4 at 5 p.m., LX New York offers a mix of celebrity guests, in-studio experts, cooking segments, and lifestyle and entertainment news.
