The Department of Theatre and Dance Presents “Works-A-Foot”

Performances to be held December 2 – 6 in Memorial Auditorium

With artistic direction by Lori Katterhenry and Nancy Lushington, these performances by Montclair State University dance majors will feature a culminating work (She could never remember which was sorry?) by celebrated choreographer Doug Elkins, who has been working with students in the dance department since August. Also featured is a work by the renowned Robert Battle, and Pearl Primus’ Bushache Etude.

Doug Elkins returns to Montclair State as choreographer in March with Fraulein Maria, a cunning deconstruction of Rogers and Hammerstein’s movie classic Sound of Music-- coming to the Alexander Kasser Theater March 25—28th!

December 2, 3, 4 at 7:30 p.m.
December 5 at 8:00 p.m.
December 6 at 2:00 p.m.

There is no charge for these performances for undergraduate students with valid Montclair State ID.

Released: December 1, 2009
