Montclair, NJ -- The George Segal Gallery presents Art Connections 6 -- a juried exhibition and sale of art featuring 106 contemporary artists -- from January 17 to February 13, 2010 with all proceeds to benefit the George Segal Gallery.
Jerelle Kraus, an award winning New York Times art director and author of the book All the Art That's Fit to Print (And Some That Wasn't), served as juror for Art Connections 6.
Patricia G. Selden will host a collector's preview and tour during the exhibit's opening reception on Sunday, January 17, from 2 - 5 p.m. She will highlight works from this exhibit to illustrate helpful ideas for collectors, as well as share curatorial insights, tips on creating collections, and discuss the current market for collecting art.
Ms. Selden is CEO of Selden Associates, Inc., which provides fine art advisory services, as well as a trustee of the Montclair Art Museum and a founding member of the Montclair Arts Council.
The George Segal Gallery is open Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., and Thursday from 12:30 p.m. - 7 p.m.
