Nominations For Outstanding Faculty And Alumni Citation Awards

In 1982 the MSUAA initiated an award for Outstanding Faculty at Montclair State University. The award is given annually to a tenured member of the faculty who has demonstrated the highest level of professional achievement and has had at least 15 years of service to MSU. The recipient will be honored at the Alumni Luncheon, held during Alumni Weekend, on Saturday, May 3, 2003. The award will also be announced at Commencement Exercises. The recipient will receive a $1,000 cash award.

Each year, the MSUAA recognizes outstanding graduates through the Alumni Citation Award. To be nominated for the award, the candidate must have graduated from Montclair State at least 15 years prior to nomination. In addition, the candidate must have demonstrated outstanding contributions which have been: of benefit to the community; of benefit to the University and/or related agencies; and of benefit to the candidate?s profession. Anyone may suggest the name of an outstanding individual to the Alumni Citation Committee. The Citation Awards are presented during the Alumni Weekend Celebration on Saturday, May 3, 2002.
