Curricular Practical Training (CPT) Workshops - For Internships

Curricular Practical Training (CPT) is temporary employment authorization that allows an F-1 student to gain practical work experience in an internship, work off-campus, or cooperative program that is directly related to the student's program of study. CPT is linked to a specific course that bears credit and is limited to a specific employer and specific dates of employment. You must receive authorization from International Services prior to the beginning of the requested date of employment. Once your CPT request has been approved by International Services, you will receive a new CPT I-20 reflecting your authorization to work.
All students interested in applying for CPT must attend a workshop to get more information.
