Campus Walkway and Staircase Access

The Division of University Facilities is working around the clock to keep campus roads open and maintain access to buildings and keep campus walkways and staircases clear of snow and ice. However, due to the challenging weather conditions, access to certain walkways and staircases will be closed so we can concentrate our efforts on primary walkways and staircases.  These restricted areas will be marked by caution tape or wooden barricades.  For your safety, we ask that you please do not attempt to use those areas.

The walkways and stairways closed due to snow accumulation are indicated on the maps linked below with yellow highlights and red arrows.

Additionally, Montclair State University shuttle bus drivers have been instructed to take precautionary measures, such as driving below the posted speed limit (when necessary); therefore, there may be delays in the shuttle schedule.

If you have any concerns regarding access to buildings and/or walkways, please contact me at Thank you for your continued patience and cooperation during these unusual weather conditions.
