In tying for #19, the University moved up from its 2018 ranking that tied it at #21.<\/p>\n<p>Released on January 15, the new ranking \u2013 based on scores from five general categories, including student engagement; services and technologies; student excellence; faculty credentials and training; and opinions of academic experts \u2013 confirms the University\u2019s status as a leader in educator preparation and a national and state research doctoral university.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur College is a national leader in preparing educators and other professionals in rigorous and innovative programs,\u201d says College of Education and Human Services Dean Tamara Lucas. \u201cThis year&#8217;s top-20 ranking of our online graduate Educational Leadership program is a testament to our commitment to offering outstanding academic programs that are responsive to the needs of our students and our other constituents. The program&#8217;s ranking reflects the vision and expertise of the program&#8217;s leadership and faculty.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Montclair State\u2019s MA in Educational Leadership program gives students the conceptual tools and professional preparation they need to become accomplished school leaders. The flexible, comprehensive online program allows students to develop a course of study that best meets their career goals \u2013 and schedules.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We value very highly those who entrust their learning to Continuing and Professional Education&#8217;s online programs at Montclair State University,\u201d says Executive Director for Continuing and Professional Education (CAPE) Peter McAliney. \u201cWe are driven by three overarching hallmarks: responsiveness to our students, a commitment to continuous improvement, and the design and delivery of quality offerings. Fully online <a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/online\/graduate-degrees\/child-advocacy-ma\/\">MA in Child Advocacy and Policy<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/business.montclair.edu\/programs\/graduate-programs\/online-mba\">MBA<\/a> programs prepare professionals for career advancement. The University\u2019s low-residency <a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/graduate\/programs-of-study\/dance-mfa\/\">MFA in Dance<\/a> uniquely combines on-ground studio work with online theory and research.
