{"id":215362,"date":"2021-08-02T14:20:25","date_gmt":"2021-08-02T18:20:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/newscenter\/?p=215362"},"modified":"2021-08-09T10:16:43","modified_gmt":"2021-08-09T14:16:43","slug":"university-welcomes-president-jonathan-koppell","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/newscenter\/2021\/08\/02\/university-welcomes-president-jonathan-koppell\/","title":{"rendered":"University Welcomes President Jonathan Koppell"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In his first day on the job on Monday, Montclair State University\u2019s new president, Jonathan Koppell, settled into his office, began meeting people, played an early morning game of one-on-one basketball with his son in Panzer gym and sent the following video message to campus, as he sets out to build on the University\u2019s legacy as a place that not only makes a difference in the lives of students but also in the world.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am so confident we are going to do great things together and I can&#8217;t wait to get started,\u201d Koppell says in the video.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Video: Welcome Message from President Jonathan Koppell\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Nim72sgLaAw?feature=oembed\" allow=\"accelerometer;
