Vice President for Student Development and Campus Life

Dr. Karen L. Pennington, Vice President for Student Development and Campus Life (SDCL) at Montclair State, frequently speaks to the media on a wide range of student and campus issues.  Under her guidance, SDCL has developed a suite of programs, services and activities that both increase students’ chances for success and enrich their experience as University students.

Dr. Pennington currently serves on the board of the Higher Education Law and Policy Center of the Stetson University College of Law and is a member of the National Advisory Board of the Clery Center for Security on campus. She is a member of the Coordinating Committee of the Northern New Jersey American Heart Association’s “Go Red for Women” campaign.
