Associate Professor of Psychology and Director of the University’s Cerebral Lateralization Laboratory Dr. Ruth Propper specializes in research that explores the role the brain’s hemispheres play in mood, cognition and perception.

Currently, as a contractor for the U.S. Army, she is investigating mechanisms by which brain activity can be altered in order to increase cognitive performance and improve memory. The author of more than 30 peer-reviewed articles, she is a frequent presenter at both national and international conferences.
