Reports issued by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing, National League for Nursing, and National Advisory Council on Nurse Education and Practice document the nursing shortage. Nurse educators will address this shortage by playing a critical role in preparing nurses, who will be equipped to deliver care in multiple settings for diverse populations.

With a curriculum grounded in evidence-based practice, coursework focuses on curriculum development, theories of measurement and evaluation, and outcomes-based approaches that promote relevant, safe and effective professional practice to improve outcomes.

Graduates are prepared to enhance interdisciplinary learning experiences in a variety of academic and clinical settings.
