{"id":3084,"date":"2025-01-22T13:11:38","date_gmt":"2025-01-22T13:11:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/nursing\/?p=3084"},"modified":"2025-06-17T18:03:30","modified_gmt":"2025-06-17T18:03:30","slug":"2025-us-news-world-report-rankings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/nursing\/2025\/01\/22\/2025-us-news-world-report-rankings\/","title":{"rendered":"2025 College Rankings: U.S. News &amp; World Report Ranks Online Graduate Programs Among Nation\u2019s Best"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>U.S. News &amp; World Report<\/em> has released its <a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.usnews.com\/education\/online-education\/montclair-state-university-185590\" target=\"_blank\">Best Online Programs<\/a> survey for 2025 and once again, Montclair State University\u2019s offerings rank among the best in the nation.<\/p>\n<p>The five University programs that participate in the survey include the master\u2019s in Business Administration (MBA), master\u2019s in Education, master\u2019s in Information Technology, master\u2019s in Business and master\u2019s in Nursing.<\/p>\n<h2>Highlights from the 2025 Best Online Programs Rankings:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Montclair\u2019s online <a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/online\/graduate-degrees\/educational-leadership-ma\/\" target=\"_blank\">Master of Arts in Educational Leadership<\/a> program is ranked No. 14 in the nation and No. 1 in New Jersey. The education programs survey also ranked certain specialty areas, including Educational Administration and Supervision, in which the University also ranked at No. 13.<\/li>\n<li>Montclair\u2019s <a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/onlinemba.montclair.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\">online MBA program<\/a> ranked at No. 100 in the nation. The <a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/onlinemba.montclair.edu\/ms-business-analytics\/\" target=\"_blank\">Master of Science in Business Analytics<\/a> program ranked at No. 61 in the nation, up 10 spots from 2024.<\/li>\n<li>The University\u2019s <a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/online\/graduate-degrees\/information-technology-ms-psm\/\" target=\"_blank\">Master of Science in Information Technology<\/a> with a concentration in Applied Information Technology (Professional Science Master\u2019s) is ranked No. 50.<\/li>\n<li>The University\u2019s <a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/nursing\/master-of-science-in-nursing\/\" target=\"_blank\">Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)<\/a> program, launched in 2018, had another substantial increase, improving nearly 20 spots to No. 58 and ranked No. 2 in New Jersey.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>U.S. News &amp; World Report<\/em> program rankings are based on scores from five categories \u2013 student engagement, services and technologies, student excellence, faculty credentials and training, and opinions of academic experts.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe recognize that no two pathways to a degree are alike, and our educational options reflect that reality,\u201d says Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs Junius Gonzales. \u201cThese latest rankings by <em>U.S. News &amp; World Report<\/em> are demonstrative of our efforts to be leaders in offering curricula that best serves the 21st-century student.
