MSU-WiFi Setup for MacOS

‌The MSU-WiFi network is for older computers and devices that are not capable of using WPA2 encryption. The following steps will show you how to connect to MSU-WiFi with your Mac OS X device.

  1. First, select the Network icon, located on the right side of the menu bar, then, click on MSU-WiFi.

  2. Next, open your preferred web browser (such as Firefox, Google Chrome, etc.) and navigate to any website. You will automatically be redirected to the Employee and Student Authentication Portal for Temporary Access Only.

Note: The Division of Information Technology strongly encourages using the MSU-Secure Network instead.

  3. On the Authentication Portal page, use your MSU NetID and password to join MSU-WiFi.
