Freshman Student Orientation

On behalf of the Center for Leadership and Engagement, we would like to congratulate and welcome you to Montclair State! We’re hard at work planning exciting orientation programming for our new flock of Red Hawks!

There are three mandatory components to your Orientation designed to acclimate you to the culture and campus at Montclair State University. Participation and completion of each component is mandatory for all incoming students.

  2. Learn How to Be A Red Hawk Online
  3. Engage at Red Hawk Day (summer only)

Register for Orientation

Due to the current events, we have postponed Registration for Orientation. Updates on Orientation, including dates and registration, will be made available at the end of April.

Summer Orientation

Overnight Orientation

Montclair State University hosts our incoming freshmen on campus for a unique two-day Orientation experience. Included in this is housing in Blanton Hall, Meals, Academic and Student Resource Session, and late night programming.
