As part of our ongoing effort to keep your information safe, we want to remind you about the <\/span>Phish Alert Button (PAB)<\/a>\u2014a quick and easy way to report suspicious emails directly to our <\/span>Information Security<\/a> team. Whether you’re a newly admitted student or you’ve seen this before, it’s important to stay alert and know how to protect yourself from phishing and scams that target college students.<\/span><\/p>\n

Why Use the PAB?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    How to Enable<\/span><\/h2>\n
      \n
    1. Check Your Email<\/strong> \u2013 On <\/span>Wednesday, September 17, 2025<\/strong> you will receive an email titled, <\/span>Gmail Phish Alert Add-on Activation<\/strong><\/li>\n
    2. Turn the Key<\/strong> \u2013 Enter the <\/span>Manual Registration Key<\/strong> in<\/span>to the <\/span>PAB license box<\/strong><\/li>\n
    3. Hit Activate<\/strong> \u2013 You\u2019re all set! Let\u2019s stop these scammers together!<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      How to Use It<\/span><\/h2>\n
        \n
      1. Tap the Hook<\/strong> \u2013 Once you\u2019ve opened a suspicious email, click the hook on the right side of your inbox<\/span><\/li>\n
      2. The email will be forwarded to the <\/span>Information Security<\/a> team for analysis<\/span><\/li>\n
      3. If anything is found to be nefarious you will be alerted!<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Please refrain from using the KnowBe4 PAB button to report non-suspicious emails or spam, as it is intended solely for reporting phishing attempts.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
