Carol Blazejowski is responsible for expanding and enhancing the University's relationships with its current array of industry partners as well as develop and maximize new business opportunities for the University.
A graduate of Montclair State, she is best known as a trailblazing women’s basketball player who served as captain of the U.S. women’s Olympic basketball team and was later inducted into the National Basketball Hall of Fame. Ms. Blazejowski also spent 14 years as president and general manager of the Women’s National Basketball Association’s New York Liberty. In this capacity, she built one of the league’s most successful franchises, with ten playoff appearances, three Eastern Conference Championships, and four appearances in the WNBA Finals. Prior to heading up the Liberty, she served as NBA director of women’s basketball programs and director of licensing for NBA Properties, Inc. Ms. Blazejowski is a member of the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame as well as the Montclair State University Hall of Fame, and was selected as a three-time All-American (1976, 1977 and 1978) during her time at Montclair State.
