Linda Davidson is the assistant dean for Student Affairs and Communications in the College of the Arts (CART) at Montclair State University, overseeing prospective-student enrollment and recruitment programming; current-student services, including career development and academic advising; plus the college's web site and marketing targeted to students and their influencers.
Prior to her role of assistant dean, Ms. Davidson served as the founding director of CART's Office of Student Services, which was established to provide support to prospective and enrolled students. She also represented the college on the board of the Montclair Arts Council, chairing its nominating committee; and currently serves on the University's Academic Advising Council among other committees.
Ms. Davidson holds a master of fine arts degree from Pratt Institute and a baccalaureate degree in Art Education from Hunter College. Her career path includes executive leadership of non-profit arts organizations and educational programs in the New York and New Jersey regions; and exhibiting as a fine artist, with work represented in public and private collections.
