Ms. Flowers-Taylor's personal motto is "Read, Retain, and Educate", which encourages both humility and encouragement when providing support.
Ms. Flowers-Taylor earned both her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a Master’s degree in Higher Education Leadership from Montclair State University. In addition, she earned her Doctorate in Transformational Leadership in 2021. Ms. Flowers-Taylor serves as the Program Associate for the Office of the Dean of Students, where she provides crisis intervention and case support for sensitive student situations. She serves as a liaison to the Title IX investigators, student conduct advisor on disciplinary matters, and campus educator where she has developed presentations on topics of self-care, leadership, bystander intervention, consent communication, and Title IX. Ms. Flowers-Taylor serves as the coordinator for the Crisis Assessment Response and Education Team (CARE Team), coaches students on problem resolution, serves as an advisor to 5 student organizations, works with cross-functional teams on academic accommodations, and serves as an Adjunct Professor for Freshmen Seminar (GNED).
