Jeff Giacobbe joined Montclair State in 1989, starting as a part-time lab supervisor in the College of Science and Mathematics. Today he is responsible for the operation of all centrally managed underlying technology infrastructure at the University including the campus wired and wireless network, telephone services, data storage and backup, and server equipment running ERP, email, web services, file and print services, databases, and web applications. Mr. Giacobbe is also responsible for information security within Information Technology and for developing security policies and best practices to safeguard University data.
Jeff holds a M.S. in Computer Science from Montclair State University and a B.A. in Computer Science from Hofstra University.
