My research is focused on the long-term psychological consequences of traumatic events, including natural and man-made disasters, community and interpersonal violence, and childhood abuse and neglect. In my work, I aim to explore to explore processes that alleviate, maintain, or exacerbate symptoms over time, and the impact of various ecological influences - from genes to neighborhoods - on mental health outcomes.
