The study is titled <a href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1016\/j.lingua.2018.01.002\">&#8220;Stage Salience and Situational Likelihood in the Formation of Situation Models during Sentence Comprehension.&#8221;<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Townsend is a\u00a0<span class=\"content\"><span class=\"text surname\">University Distinguished Scholar<\/span><\/span> and the director of the <a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/msusentencecomprehensionlab.weebly.com\/research.html\" target=\"_blank\">Sentence Comprehension Laboratory<\/a>. H<span class=\"content\"><span class=\"text surname\">is research focuses on measuring eye movements during reading to examine the use of structural and semantic information during sentence comprehension.
