The study is titled <a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/academic.oup.com\/acn\/advance-article-abstract\/doi\/10.1093\/arclin\/acy029\/4961821\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;Poor Encoding and Weak Early Consolidation Underlie Memory Acquisition Deficits in Multiple Sclerosis: Retroactive Interference, Processing Speed, or Working Memory?&#8221; <\/a><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Dr. Sandry\u00a0<span class=\"font-9\">is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Psychology <\/span>and the Principal Investigator of the <a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sandrylab.com\" target=\"_blank\">Cognition and Neurocognitive Disorders Research Lab<\/a>. Research in the lab involves understanding how attention and memory interact to create new long-term memory representations in healthy and clinical populations. The students involved in the study are: Mark Zuppichini, Jessica Rothberg, and Zerbrina Valdespino-Hayden. Zuppichini graduated with an <a href=\"\/psychology\/graduate-programs\/ma-in-general-psychology\/\">MA in General Psychology<\/a> and is now a PhD student at the University of Texas &#8211; Dallas. Rothberg is a graduate student in the General Psychology MA program, and Valdespino-Hayden is a doctoral student in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/psychology\/graduate-programs\/phd-in-clinical-psychology\/\">Clinical Psychology PhD program<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dr. Sandry and students from his lab have published a new study in Archives of Clinical Neuropsychology, April 2018.
