This brings the external funding awarded Dr. Sandry in support of his research lab, up to $1.3 million so far for this year.<\/p>\n<p>Traumatic brain injury (TBI) can result in considerable difficulty learning and remembering new information and long-term memory impairment is one of the most common negative cognitive consequences of injury.
